4 years of random chipmunk

Radomly (pun intended) wanted to make a blog post today and WordPress reminded me the blog makes 4 years old!

I was on the fence on what to write but now I know I want to tell you the story of how I got started with this journey.

I started random chipmunk on my first year of university. I’ve always been a big fan of writting what goes on in my life and bring my opinions up, a blog was a perfect solution.

As I studied Public relations, it was also advised to me that I would make regular posts about PR and marketing. I started that way but I couldn’t keep it up for long. Along the way I decided to make this blog more personal but still write about business occasionally.

Meaning that I could talk about me today and business tomorrow – that’s why it’s random. There are no taboos here and it’s very freeing to be able to talk about whatever I want.

These three years I have been just enjoying what I’m doing without putting too much pressure on me. Even when I would write everyday I wouldn’t feel that much pressure to have ideas and type them up. Perhaps because I genuinly enjoy doing it.

There were a few times, particularly when I was busy with university essays and projects, that I wouldn’t write so much because I was already spending too much time in front of the computer.

Then there were other times that I was completely obsessed with writing and I loved sharing my thoughts on this platform.

We’ve been to Belgium, Brighton, London, Portugal, Southampton and I can’t wait to travel with my blog in the pocket again!

Random chipmunk has a lot of meaning to me. It’s almost a confidant and a safe place for ‘crazy talk’ and ‘weird ideas’.

Thank you for being supportive of this blog over the years and raise your glasses to more!
