This might seem stupid but I’ve seen it being accurate with me.
I am a super organized person. I can’t function without organization. Same as it is with my learning. I create patterns in my head to understand things. If I can’t create a pattern, or a tree of knowledge if you will, then I can’t figure out what you are talking about. Like my mind has folders my environment has also to be tidy and stress-free.
However, when anxiety kicks in, my OCD levels go through the roof. I am not diagnosed with any of these illnesses but please understand that this is a way for you to understand my message.
For me, having a cluttered room makes me feel very unmotivated. Not only that, but I also can’t work. Most get distracted by their phones, I get distracted by an unmade bed.
Are you an organized, ‘OCD’ that feels that your anxiety really makes a toll on this?
